USC Computing Forum's Inaugural Symposium a Resounding Success

May 21, 2018

On May 17, the USC Computing Forum hosted its inaugural symposium on the theme of "AI in Life" at the Marriott Hotel in Marina del Rey, California.

An energetic crowd of more than 100 guests – including researchers, scientists, venture capitalists, startup founders and business leaders – enjoyed a day full of lively and thought-provoking discussions about the profound impact of AI on our lives and its potential to radically shape the future.

In his opening remarks, USC Computing Forum founder Prem Natarajan, ISI’s Michael Keston executive director, introduced the forum as a community for like-minded individuals to get together, network and exchange ideas in LA’s tech epicenter of Silicon Beach.

Keynote speakers and panelists at the inaugural symposium included internationally known academics, business executives, entrepreneurs and global thought leaders on artificial intelligence and machine learning, who explored four timely topics.
